Notes on Data Backup
Although HiCAD performs an AutoSave of data at regular intervals, you should create backup copies of your drawings.
Remember also to back up the following files:
- referenced parts as well as other 2-D and 3-D parts,
- detail drawings
- factory standard catalogues,
- your own background images,
- modified system settings or
- modified configurations, e.g. for BOM generation.
If your drawing contains pixel graphics which are linked only to the drawing,
back them up as well.
